VIRTUAL HEALTHCARE MEDICAL ASSISTING

Virtual Healthcare – Medical Assistant is part of the Virtual Healthcare series from Knowledge Matters. In Medical Assisting learners experience a day in the life of a healthcare provider.

Students gain a better understanding of how to fulfill duties typical of a medical assistant by taking their knowledge and putting it into real-world practice. From checking in patients to point-of-care testing, blood draws, medication administration, and working with diverse patients with varied needs, students will gain confidence in their ability to deliver quality patient care.

In this simulation, concepts are taught and scaffolded through guided lessons and reinforced through independent practice.

Students are taken out of the abstract and put into the reality of a medical office.
