Knowledge Matters, Inc. consists of individuals who are passionate about technology, innovation and education and who are dedicated to inspiring today’s youth to pursue their goals and dreams. As part of this longstanding commitment, Knowledge Matters has offered the annual Virtual Business Scholarship opportunity for the past ten years.
Educators work hard to enable their students to stay competitive by equipping them with the necessary information and technology to do so. This scholarship is one way of supporting the effort teachers put in and the accomplishments their students have made.
Drum roll, please . . . Last year, Knowledge Matters launched the Virtual Business All-Access Scholarship Challenge. The winners of an online Virtual Business challenge would be awarded educational scholarships from Knowledge Matters.
This year, the Virtual Business All-Access Scholarship Challenge began on Tuesday, March 17th. Given that we launched the Scholarship Challenge just as school closures rippled across the country, we decided to extend the end date of the challenge. The challenge ended on Monday, April 27th.
Competitors in this year’s Virtual Business All-Access Scholarship Challenge competed using the Virtual Business Retailing simulation.
And, now, we’re happy to announce the winners of the Virtual Business All-Access Scholarship Challenge 2020:
Alexander - Wilcox High School, Santa Clara, California
Nehanth Narendrula - Heritage High School, Frisco, Texas
Erik Cornejo - Waller High School, Waller, Texas
Alexander, Nehanth, Erik, we’re excited that you competed and won this year’s Virtual Business All-Access Scholarship Challenge 2020. Good luck as you continue your educational journey in the years ahead.
